Rebecca N. Johnson, APRN, FNP-BC

As a Nurse Practitioner, Rebecca has worked in OB/Gyn and Primary Care practices for the greater part of 20 years in addition to teaching undergraduate nursing students Labor and Delivery both at UCSF and BYU.

Her exemplary career and passion for educating others and improving people’s lives has led her clinical interest toward women’s health, wellness, and hormone therapy. As a result, she has a subspecialty in Women’s Health from the Nursing Graduate Program at UCSF.

Rebecca obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Utah. As a nurse she worked in internal medicine, labor & delivery, and postpartum at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She later moved to San Francisco, CA and worked in the NICU at Sanford and at UCSF where she obtained her Master’s Degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Rebecca lives with her husband and is a mother of five precocious children involved in all sorts of crazy things from singing in operas to racing mountain bikes, cyclocross, ski team, and SkiMo. She enjoys the outdoors, skiing, running rivers, camping, hiking, and mountain biking. 

Fun Fact: She sang in La Boheme as a teenager and babysat for Karl Malone in college.
