Women who wish to delay pregnancy should know that there are many birth control choices available to them with a variety of family planning (reproductive health) options.

Few things are more important to a woman’s health than being able to decide whether and when to get pregnant.

IUD, hormonal (NovaSure, Mirena, Skyla) and non-hormonal (copper, Paragard), inserted by a doctor in the office or clinic - Intrauterine device, a small birth control device, often shaped like a “T” that goes in the uterus.  After insertion, there is no action for 3 to 5 years depending on the brand, before removing or replacing.
